Arboreal

Amazonius germani, the Orange Tree Spider, is a fast, sleek arboreal tarantula from South America with warm orange tones. Adults reach about 5–6" in leg span.

Temperament: Extremely fast and skittish. Tree spiders in this group have no urticating hairs, so they are more likely to run or bite than kick hairs. Best for keepers with some experience.

Care: A tall enclosure with cork bark for climbing and hiding, slightly moist substrate, good cross ventilation and a water dish.

Growth rate: Fast.
